My wife and I have known Ruth Kam since 2004. She sold us our first condominium, and when we decided to sell, once again, we called Ruth to assist us with the transaction. Ruth is a very knowledgeable and dedicated professional who goes above and beyond what is required to complete a sales transaction. She is a tireless worker, often working more than eighteen hours a day, six to seven days a week.
In 2004, we were living in Arizona when we decided to purchase a condominium in Hawaii. After discussing the property with Ruth, we decided to go ahead a buy it sight-unseen. Ruth, however, took the initiative to have the property photographed and placed on the internet; thereby, providing us the capability to virtual tour the property; she did not have to do this because it was not a requirement. In 2008, a sale fell through days before closing on our property, due to a large assessment being announced. Ruth found another buyer immediately and the new sale closed within three weeks. These are examples of true dedication and going “above and beyond” the call of duty to help customers.
During my twenty-nine years as a professional Army officer, I have had the pleasure of serving with many individuals. Ruth Kam is one of the best I have worked with and known. She is a very detailed person who leaves nothing to chance; she is a loving, kind, and sensitive “people-person” who focuses on the issues and concerns of her customers. My wife and I have known Ruth Kam for almost 20 years. We were first introduced to Ruth by our sister-in-law and her husband back in 1988 after she helped them purchase a condo in Mililani. We asked Ruth to help us find a good rental unit for investment. After patiently taking us to see a number of different condo units in the Mililani area, giving us her analyses on the pros and cons of each unit, negotiating on our behalf to get us the best deal, she got us our first rental unit within less than two weeks. We are Jere and Janet Scott. Ruth Kam was referred to us by a friend from church soon after we got married last April 2004. At that time, we were considering the possible future sale of our Mililani townhouse. Ruth came out to talk with us in May.
